      In 1995, I had the pleasure of taking three students from Taiwan to the International
Dalcroze Congress in Geneva, and, in 1997, five students to the International workshops in Pittsburgh. In both workshops, we met Dalcrozians from Europe, the United States, and Japan. We shared our personal experiences and helped each other develop new ways of creating a Dalcroze curriculum.

      In 1999, I led a group of 14 students from Taiwan and two associates from the U.S. to join the 32nd International Dalcroze Congress in Geneva. This was a great opportunity to learn new things and to share our experiences in Taiwan as Dalcroze students and teachers.

      In 2003, I led a group of 11 teachers, one student, and a secretary to attend the 33rd International Dalcroze Congress in Geneva.

      In 2004, I was invited by the Jaques-Dalcroze Society of Japan to be one of the 20teachers who had participated in the Dalcroze Eurhythmics International Conference and leda group of 7 teachers to attend this Conference.

      In 2007, I led a group of twenty teachers and students, to attend the 34th International Dalcroze Congress in Geneva. We also presented two original plastique animée and improvisation works, “Pachelbel’s Canon” and “Le Papillion” in this congress.

      In 2008, I was invited by the Jaques-Dalcroze Society of Japan to teach in the second Dalcroze Eurhythmics International Conference, Tokyo. In this Conference, I led a group of 14 young students in presenting a work of plastique animée using piano improvisation, “The Adventure of the Little Raindrop”.

      On July 6, 2011, I was invited by the 8th Asia-Pacific Symposium on Music Education Research held in Taipei to give a workshopPlastique Animée in Dalcroze Approachand also presented three plastique animées by 52 young students.

      This summer, I am leading a group of 28 young students and teachers to attend RHYTHMIK 100 HELLERAU International Rhythmics Workshop Dalcroze 2011. I was honored to be invited to give a workshop, speech, and to present an original plastique animée and improvisation work, “Formosa 100”.
